Shower once a day
Wash the oils away
Then condition them back
Brush twice a day
New toothbrush once the blue line fades
Eat three times a day
9:00AM, 1:00PM, 5:00PM
Workout three times a week
Afterwords have a protein drink
Wash clothes once a week
Gently, so they don't fade
Friday, go to a party
Get laid
Saturday, start thinking about work
Sunday, start doing it
Monday, start the cycle over again
Is this higher education? This is the same hamster wheel I was running on in high school. Life is whatever we choose to make it, and we've been made into this. I have a vision, where one day we will live like the dolphins in the spotless sea. Live only with what we were given, and live only to swim free, loving whoever we may meet. People say its an impossible dream, but I believe in whatever can be dreamed. Someday, not within my lifetime, we may find the land of milk and honey, but right now we live a life of quantity, not quality. 6,000,000,000 people on an earth that, with technology, is growing smaller each day. An earth where we're clustered into either concentrated abundance or concentrated poverty. We can't go on this way, but it gets stronger everyday. So do I live the dream and run away? Pack up my knapsack and sleep under the moon in bales of hale? Or do I rot in societies cage? Jumping over men and horses, hoops and garters, in a struggle for power, so that I may one day lead humanity's change?

Do both.
ReplyDeleteThe question is rather do you take the strength to lead to usher along your fellow man, or your own spirit. Without societies cages and protection, one is thrown to the cold of the snow and the pains of hunger. That machine, as evil as it is, is what kept you Mr. Pye, alive. Would you be on this earth without antibiotics?
